It was our pleasure to be the technology sponsor of the award presentation ceremony of the 8th “BEST OF THE BEST AWARDS”, held by squarefoot.com.hk under the iProperty Group on 26th of May 2017. Organizers and elites from property industry utilized the AR technology provided by SnapPop.
By using SnapPop, award-wining property projects can be shown in three-dimensional form. The AR (Augmented Reality) technique of SnapPop strengthened the interactivity of the ceremony by enriching the user experience. The event itself also became more memorable, and the feedbacks from the guests were overwhelmingly positive.
The four-days Mobile World Congress this year had been successfully held in early March in Barcelona. SnapPop exhibited as a Hong Kong representative and a local mobile apps developer at Hong Kong Technology Pavilion, supported by the sponsorship from InvestHK. We displayed SnapPop in the exhibition, along with the application of its Augmented Reality functions. This impressed the users a lot by improving their user experiences with posters, packages, and other offline marketing materials. Chief Information Officer of the Hong Kong Government (OGCIO), Allen Yeung, JP, along with officials from HKSTP, InvestHK and Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) visited our booth.

Get in the Ring Hong Kong was a Global Startup Competition of the Get in the Ring Foundation. This yearly pitch competition challenges you to show what you’ve got in an actual ring. Our sister startup SnapPop, through 1-on-1 battles competed for awards, a place in the global final and the attention of potential fans.
We are glad to share our experience in mobile solutions based on iPhone, Android, iPad, and other platforms through the participation in exhibitions. We have had exhibition booths in Inno Design Tech Expo and Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair by HKTDC respectively in the past months.
That’s our booth in IDT Expo 2015 and our co-founder Leo was a speaker at the Design & Technology Forum.

Organised by Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation, the roadshow “Innovation for Good” demonstrates how Innovations and Technology create social and economic benefits. We took part to show the funny and stereoscopic experience by using Augmented Reality (AR) technology to the public.

Thanks to continuous trust and support by Ms. Josephine Siao (蕭芳芳), the chairman of End Child Sex Abuse Foundation, we are so proud of the official launch of this interactive e-learning platform in the week of sex education in April 2015.
This is a funny and inspiring educational masterpiece, while the main storyline and game are introduced by one super guy and one super girl whom will be acted by the voice of Mr. Hacken Lee (李克勤) and Ms. Joyce Cheng (鄭欣宜). Cooperated with ECSAF, we have developed a web platform that can facilitate primary schools to participate in ECSAF’s 5 days Child Sexual Abuse Prevention program. Through videos, mini-games and a configurable avatar system with accessories store, children ranging from primary 1 to primary 6 can learn how to protect themselves from sexual abuse. Since each student under each primary school is given a web portal account to play, their stored points targeting to exchange for more accessories for the avatars, can be well managed in our developed Content Management System (CMS), in which is good for further analytical purpose.
We are very grateful to have gained Josephine’s appreciation and precious encouragement on our work on animation and web portal development. And Joy Aether hopes that the child abuse cases will soon disappear in this world.

Inno Design Tech Expo had been held during 4-6 Dec 2014 in Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Our booth 1A-C02 was in the Hong Kong Tech Showcase with the professional collaboration with local universities, research institutes and industry leaders. We are excited to have received many visitors’ interests in our highlighted mobile solutions shown on the booth backdrop. More amazingly, we are very honoured to have the chairman of Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation, Mrs. Fanny Law (羅范椒芬), to show interest to Joy Aether.

Apart from the participation in Hong Kong, we were invited to attend the exhibition in Elexcon 2014 situated in Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Centre in the mid of Nov. Our booth was in “Hong Kong Outstanding Software Pavilion”. We were greatly inspired by the rapid growth of adding mobile apps to appliances in the mobile solutions industry in China market.
We are honored to be interviewed by TVB’s Finance Magazine in June 2014. This chapter is about how to improve human beings’ health tracking methods in order to take prompt action instantly, by the smart use of innovative technology developed by Hong Kong professionals. Ricky Lui, Vice President of Joy Aether, has introduced one of hottest topics in these recent years – Appification of Health and Fitness. Through the demonstration, our jointly developed Blueanatomy app is connected to wireless body scale through BLE, all sets of important health indicating indexes such as body fat, BMI, muscle etc. are all shown on the mobile app interface and can be exported in graphs for health analysis purpose.
Georg Pichler, one of reporter from Austrian daily Der Standard had invited us to demonstrate how to play with Augmented Reality(AR) technology. He enjoyed much in playing with one of our AR app, in which scanning on the colourful masks he wore can bring with a 3D animal head shown on the mobile screen! A happy photo with animal head on his body could be taken for his instant gift as well. We are so glad to meet such a funny reporter from Austria.

Our VP of Operations, Ricky Lui had been interviewed, and he shared his valuable experience in enterprising app design and app development for our corporate clients. He agreed with the interviewer that “more device functionality enables app development in more dimensions”. In addition, he also mentioned that there is a trend that SMEs change to use mobile apps to create innovative marketing campaigns, innovative business models in order to improve their business processes.
